Tina Fey's husband has revealed to Vanity Fair how the former "Saturday Night Live" and "30 Rock" star got the facial scar that has been a mystery to her fans for years. In an interview with the comedy actress and Jeff Richmond for the January issue of the magazine, Richmond said that the scar on Fey's left cheek is the result of a violent stranger attack on Fey when she was a 5-year-old."It was in, like, the front yard of her house, and somebody who just came up, and she just thought somebody marked her with a pen," Richmond told Vanity Fair.Though there has been speculation over the source of the scar on various blogs, Fey has never publicly discussed where it came from.Fey, 38, and Richmond, 48, met when they were both members of Chicago's famed Second City comedy troupe. They married in 2001 and have one daughter together.Fey's career is on fire of late thanks to the Emmy success of her sitcom "30 Rock" and her recurring cameos on "Saturday Night Live" as Republican vice presidential candidate Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.Fey won Emmys as a producer of "30 Rock" for Best Comedy Series Emmys in 2007 and 2008. She also took Best Comedy Actress and Best Comedy Writing Emmys in 2008.
